No. 1 --> Make this recipe easy on yourself! There's no need for fancy equipment. Throw all your ingredients into a mason jar with a blender ball and you've got a mixing container and a storage container all in one.
No. 2 --> You certainly can substitute brown sugar for white sugar in this recipe, but you'll be missing the caramel notes that the brown sugar provides. I do recommend brown sugar.
How to make
- Grab a mason jar and a blender ball - if you've got one. Any airtight container will work, but I prefer to use glass whenever possible.
- Measure ingredients and add them straight into your jar.
- Screw the lid on to your jar, tightly, and shake until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour over your salad.
The beauty of this recipe is that it's incredibly easy to make and has only 3 ingredients. But another bonus to this apple cider vinegar dressing is that is's great to make ahead.
