Strawberry Flavored Popcorn

Ingredients

½ cup popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoons corn syrup
⅛ cup water
¼ cup sugar
1 small box strawberry Jello

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300f, and prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper.
Air pop ½ cup popcorn kernels into a large bowl.
Meanwhile, combine 2 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoons corn syrup, ⅛ cup water¼ cup sugar, and 1 small box strawberry Jelloin a medium saucepan, and bring to a simmer, whisk until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the flavour mix over the popcorn, trying to spread it as much as possible.
Quickly toss the popcorn to coat.
Spread the popcorn on the baking sheet.
Bake at 300f for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly before transferring to a bowl.

Sugar-free jello:

I have not tested this recipe with sugar-free jello and sugar alternatives. I cannot provide results for these substitutions.
