Add 2 cups whole milk and ½ cup coffee cream or half and half to a small pot. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, whisk often to avoid burning.
Meanwhile, chop the 3 oz white baking chocolate, set aside.
Once the milk mixture has come to a light simmer, remove from heat and add 2 chai tea bags. Cover the pot and set aside to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
After the tea has steeped, uncover the steeped milk, discard the tea bags and return to medium-low heat.
Add the chopped white chocolate and whisk until completely melted and the white hot chocolate is well combined.
Serve in a large mug, and top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon if desired!
Notes
Stronger chai flavour
If you're looking for a stronger chai flavour, toss an extra tea bag into the pot while it's steeping.
