Half-sour pickles are crunchy, salty, and sour in all the right ways. Their flavor is so powerful that you can't help but keep eating them until the entire jar is empty. (Not that I would know....)

Prepare Ingredients

Slice blossom end from cucumbers, slice fresh garlic cloves, rinse and dry dill flowers and fronds.

Stuff Jars

Add prepared cucumbers, dill, garlic, and black peppercorns to each jar.

Make Brine

Add salt to water. Stir till completely combined.

Brine Pickles

Pour brine over pickles, ensuring all ingredients are completely covered. Secure the lid tightly. Set aside to ferment.

Brine Pickles

Check the pickles daily for signs of fermentation and once they reach your desired flavor, store them in the fridge for up to 1 year.
