Unbelievably Easy Sous Vide Eggnog

gather ingredients: - eggs - powdered sugar - nutmeg - whole milk - whipping cream - salt - bourbon - vanilla extract - cinnamon sticks

in the jar of your blender, combine whole eggs and egg yolks and blend until completely smooth and frothy.

Add in nutmeg, powdered sugar and salt. Blend again until completely smooth.

Add in milk and heavy cream, pulse to combine. Then add vanilla extract and bourbon. Blend to combine

Add a cinnamon stick to each mason jar, then close each jar finger tight. 

Add the eggnog to the preheated water bath. Cook the eggnog sous vide at 144f for 60 minutes.

Once cooked, remove mason jars from the sous vide water bath and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before transferring to the fridge to cool completely.

Serve eggnog chilled and garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg if desired.
