This rye sourdough bread is easy and delicious! You can use it as part of a sandwich or just eat it on its own with some butter. Once you try this recipe, we know you’ll be hooked!

Combine rye sourdough starter with warm water, molasses, brown sugar, caraway seeds. Add bread flour and rye flour.

Add salt and perform a 2 sets of strech and folds, spaced 30 minutes apart, covering in between.

After the last stretch and fold, allow dough to rest for around 6 hours.

Turn the dough onto barely floured surface and gently shape into a boule.

Shape the dough a final time, then place in a banneton or bowl.

Place the dough into a banneton, or parchment lined pot and prove for 1 -2 hours.

Preaheat dutch oven in the oven at 475f. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 10-15 minutes until golden.
