combine the cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack, barbecue sauce, and chopped brisket. Pulse until completely combined.

Wash and dry the peppers, then carefully slice a small wedge out of the top. Leaving the bottom of the pepper and the stem intact.

Use a spoon or knife to carefully stuff the jalapeno with the brisket filling. Replace the cut-out wedge once filled.

Wrap each filled pepper in thin cut bacon, secure with a toothpick.

Smoke for 90 minutes, brush with BBQ sauce, then increase heat and smoke another 15-20 minutes.
