Crushed Candy Cane Cookies

gather ingredients: - butter - brown sugar - eggs - flour -baking soda -baking powder -salt - white chocolate chips - semi sweet chocolate chips - candy canes

beat together butter and sugar, Then add in eggs and hot water one at a time beating after each addition.

combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir until combined.

mix in the white and semi sweet chocolate chips and then fold in the candy cane pieces by hand.

scoop the cookie dough into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

bake at 375f for 8-10 minutes or until the edges and bottoms are golden brown.

allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack

store your cookies in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
