Christmas Prime Rib
gather ingredients: - prime rib roast - salt and pepper
generously season roast with salt and pepper on all sides. Allow prime rib to rest until water bath comes to temperature.
place into vacuum seal bag and seal.
Carefully lower the sealed prime rib into the water bath and cook at 133f for 6 to 8 hours.
once cooked, remove prime rib from sous vide water bath open the bag.
drain bag juices and save for au jus, if desired.
place prime rib bone side down in a baking dish and brush with olive oil
broil at 500 f for 10 minutes until the top of the roast is nicely browned.
carve and serve!
