Step 1
Beat melted butter and brown sugar together until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating in between. Add hot water, and mix well.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing slowly, until completely combined.
Step 4
Add chocolate chips and white chocolate chips to the bowl and mix on low until evenly distributed. Fold in the candy cane pieces by hand.
Step 5
Scoop the cookie dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes - until the bottoms and edges are golden brown.
Step 6
These cookies can be made in advance too! Simply scoop them onto a baking sheet and freeze prior to baking.
